2024 Diamond C 7×24 20K Tilt Deck Equipment Trailer
A 20,000 lb tilt deck with no ramps to lift, no ramps to store, and nothing to lose off the back. The deck splits into 8 feet stationary at the front and 16 feet of hydraulic dampened tilt behind it. Payload comes to 15,370 lbs on a 4,630 lb empty weight, which puts most skid steers, compact track loaders, and mid-size tractors comfortably inside the rating.
Tilt instead of ramps
Ramps are the part of an equipment trailer that gets dropped on feet, bent by tracks, and stolen out of the yard. A tilt deck takes them out of the equation. The hydraulic cushion lets the deck settle under control and come back the same way rather than slamming when the load crosses the pivot point. One person can load without a second set of hands at the tail. The trade is the tilt angle itself, and a very low-clearance machine can still catch at the break between the stationary and tilting sections. Check your machine’s approach clearance first.
Frame and running gear
Diamond C builds this on an engineered beam frame with an 8-inch 10 lb I-beam tongue and 3-inch I-beam crossmembers on 16-inch centers. Two 10,000 lb torsion straight axles carry it, both with electric drum brakes. Torsion suspension rides better empty than leaf springs and has no equalizers to wear out. It also does not share load between axles the way a leaf setup does over broken ground, which is the reason some haulers still prefer springs.

The adjustable Demco coupler is worth setting properly rather than leaving where it arrived. A tilt deck towed nose-high loads at a worse angle than the spec sheet promises. Six D-rings and a rub rail with stake pockets give you tie-down options once the machine is aboard, and the V-tongue toolbox keeps chains and binders out of the weather.
