2024 Carry-On 6×12 3K Utility Trailer with Rear Ramp Gate
This is the trailer most people actually need. Six by twelve, single axle, open deck, fold-down ramp gate at the back. It hauls a riding mower, a yard of mulch, a couch, or a small ATV, and it fits in a normal driveway. GVWR is 2,990 lbs and it weighs about 900 empty, which leaves roughly 2,090 lbs of payload. That is plenty for the work a trailer like this actually sees.
Single axle, and why that is fine here
One 3,500 lb E-Z Lube axle on 3-leaf eye-to-eye springs keeps the whole thing simple. A tandem tracks better at highway speed and gives you a second wheel if a tire lets go. A single backs into a tight gate far easier and there is half as much to grease. At 2,990 lbs gross you also sit under the brake requirement in most states, though your own rules are worth a look. Deck height is 19-1/2″, low enough that the ramp gate makes a workable angle for a walk-behind or a mower.

It is pre-owned, which is the reason the price looks the way it does. Go over it the way you would any used trailer. Deck boards for soft spots, tire sidewalls for cracking no matter how good the tread looks, ramp gate hinges, and the wiring end to end before you tow after dark.
