2008 C and C Trailers 4 Horse Bumper Horse Trailer

An entry-priced four-horse for a program that hauls close to home. This 2008 C and C is a bumper pull, so there is no bed hitch to install and you keep the use of your truck bed. It also means less stability than a gooseneck once four head are loaded. A properly rated truck and a careful hand on a windy interstate matter more with this trailer than they would with a gooseneck of the same capacity.

What it has going for it is the option list. Large front tack room, separate rear tack, hay pod, mangers in the stalls, and an escape door. That combination normally costs more than a 2008 trailer sells for. The front tack keeps saddles and blankets out of the weather. The rear tack puts brushes and bridles where you actually stand while you work. The hay pod carries feed without eating into stall space, and mangers let each horse eat in place instead of off the floor.

The escape door is the item an experienced hauler looks for first. After you load the front horse, an escape door is how you get out without walking back past the other three.
