A reverse-slant stock combo does two jobs. Load two horses at an angle on Saturday, pull the divider and haul open stock or gear on Monday. This 1999 4-Star is that trailer. It suits the owner who does not want a second rig sitting in the field for the half of the year the first one is wrong.

The reverse slant angles horses toward the curb side rather than the road side. Some haulers swear by it for loading; others prefer a standard slant and always will. Load your own horse in it before you decide the argument matters. What is not debatable is the airflow. Oversized drop windows across the front open the horse area up, and the rear carries both a swing door and a slide door, so you can crack it for ventilation on a hot day without opening the whole back of the trailer.

Rubber matting runs through the horse area. The front tack and dressing room is already fitted out. Tires are new.

Configuration Reverse slant / stock combo
Rear access Swing door and slide door
Front compartment Tack and dressing room

Here is what we cannot tell you from this page. The trailer is a 1999 and we do not have published GVWR, axle rating, or box length on file for it. Call and we will pull the tags and put a tape on it. If your horses are tall or heavy, interior height matters more than anything else listed above, and we would rather measure it for you than guess.

Standard used-trailer advice applies. Lift a corner of the mats and look at the floor, because mats hide exactly what you need to see. Check that both rear doors latch square. Bearings and tire date codes are cheap to deal with now and expensive to ignore later.
