587 hours. On a 2022 machine that works out to roughly 200 hours a year, which is homeowner-plus or light contractor use rather than a rental fleet life. The hour meter is the first thing to look at on a used excavator and this one reads well.
It is a U48-5R3AP, the reduced tail swing version, and that matters more than most spec sheet lines. Reduced tail swing means the counterweight stays close to the tracks when the house rotates, so you can work alongside a fence or a foundation wall without watching your back corner. Full tail swing machines do not let you do that.
How it is equipped
This one came out of the factory well specified. Rubber tracks, angle blade, dual auxiliary hydraulics, factory cab with heat and air conditioning, keyless start, backup camera, Kubota mechanical coupler, a 24 in. bucket and a hydraulic thumb. The thumb and the dual auxiliaries are the expensive options to add later, and both are already here.
