Electric is the right call when the machine lives near a building. No exhaust, no fuel to store, and you can run it inside a shop or a barn with the door shut. The trade-off is the cord. You need a 220V outlet within reach, and this is not a machine you drag to the back of a property on a whim.
Size it honestly. 100 mm is four inches. Storm limbs and hedge trimmings, yes. Felled trunks, no. That is a chipper’s job, and a chipper costs several times this.
