Mission Trailers 101×12 Aluminum 2-Place Crossover
1,034 pounds dry. That number is why people buy this trailer. It is light enough that a half-ton barely notices it, and light enough that a capable SUV can pull it without drama. All-aluminum in charcoal, screwless .030 smooth sides, and a 3,500 lb torsion idler axle underneath a 2,990 lb GVWR chassis.
The loading hardware is already on it
This one came through with the Caliber package, which is the difference between a trailer you fight and one you use. Ski guides line the machine up on the way in. Track mats give the track something to bite. LowPro grip glides and Trax grabbers on the ramp keep carbides from skating on aluminum, which is the moment most loading accidents happen. The rear ramp has spring assist. A crossover canopy with a loading light hangs over the tailgate area so you are not working by headlamp.
Inside, a full-length slide track carries two ski tie-down bars, so both sleds anchor wherever they end up. A 3-piece fixed step sits under the 26×58 side access door, and there is a 30×70 front access door for gear.

Where the compromise sits
The axle is an idler, so there are no trailer brakes. At this weight that is standard and legal in most states, but a heavy load on a long downgrade is entirely your truck’s problem. The 64-inch interior height is normal for a crossover and tight if you run tall windshields; measure before you buy. In exchange you get a trailer that is easy to move by hand in a driveway and easy to tow into a snowed-in trailhead.
