26-inch deck height. Write that number down, because on a buggy hauler it decides your ramp angle more than anything else on the spec sheet. Lower deck, shallower approach, less scraping.
The ECX is RawMaxx’s 102 x 24 buggy configuration at 14,000 lb GVW. Drive-over fenders give you the full 102 inches between them, which is what wide-track buggies and side-by-sides need.
Frame
6-inch channel main frame with 3-inch channel crossmembers on 16-inch centers. The deck is 2-inch treated lumber.
Axles and tires
Two Dexter 7,000 lb axles with electric brakes on both, running 10-ply radials. Ten-ply is the detail people skip past. An 8-ply tire on a fully loaded 14,000 lb trailer runs hot, and hot tires are how trailer blowouts start.
Securing the load
Rub rail, stake pockets, D-rings and a chain spool. The chain spool is the one worth having if you chain down equipment rather than strapping a car, because it gives chain somewhere to live that is not the deck. An A-frame toolbox is fitted, so straps and a breaker bar have a home too.
Safety kit
G70 safety chains, an electric breakaway kit and DOT-compliant reflective tape. All powder coated, with a 3-year structural warranty.
Set against the Sure-Trac buggy hauler at the same length and rating, this one leans toward equipment hauling. The chain spool and the toolbox tell you who it was built for.
