2000 Morgan Built 3 Horse Bumper Pull
Three horses without a gooseneck hitch. That is the reason to look at this trailer. A bumper pull three-horse is a compromise and the compromise is stability: a gooseneck sets weight over the rear axle and tracks better through crosswinds and sudden lane changes, while a bumper pull hangs the whole load behind the bumper. What you get back is your truck bed and a much wider list of vehicles that can legally pull it. Plenty of barns run exactly this setup for years without incident.
Stalls
41 inches pin to pin. That is real room for a horse of normal build, and it is the number to compare against any other three-horse you are shopping. Dividers are padded and telescoping, and there is an extra divider catch, so you can open the interior up when you are hauling two instead of three. Rubber mats run through the horse area.
Ventilation and feeding
One air vent per horse. Drop-down feed windows on the sides, which means you can hay and water at a rest stop without opening the rear doors and creating an escape opportunity. Double rear doors with windows let daylight into a box that would otherwise be dark for nearly 18 feet. Interior height is 7 ft 6 in, tall for a trailer of this vintage.
