2017 CM 3HSLBP Three Horse Bumper Pull
CM builds this one out of galvanneal, a zinc-coated steel that holds paint and fights corrosion far better than plain sheet steel. On a trailer that spends winters parked outside and springs on salted roads, that matters more than almost any other line on the spec sheet. Steel is heavier than aluminum. It is also cheaper to buy and cheaper to fix when a divider post gets bent, which is a trade most working barns make happily.

Read the capacity numbers carefully
Empty weight is 3,500 lbs and GVWR is 7,000 lbs. That leaves 3,500 lbs for horses, tack, hay, and water. Three 1,100-pound horses put you at the ceiling before a single saddle goes aboard. If you haul three full-size horses on a regular basis, look at a higher-rated trailer instead. If you haul two and use the third stall for gear, or if you move ponies, yearlings, and smaller stock, this one fits. We would rather say that up front than sell you a rig you have to overload.
Dimensions and dressing room
Box length runs 17 feet at a 6-foot outside width. Interior height is a full 7 feet, roughly 21 hands of clearance, which is generous for a bumper pull of this size. The 6-foot width is narrow by current standards, so measure a stall against your horses if they are wide through the barrel. The dressing room is fully enclosed with a 2-foot short wall and a 5-foot long wall. Room for saddles, bridles, buckets, and a bale, and it locks, which keeps tack out of the weather and out of reach at a fairground.
On any used trailer, check the floor, wiring, lights, and tire date codes, and confirm your brake controller and hitch class before the first trip. Dimensions and weights are approximate. Flat $550 freight anywhere in the continental US, 30-day returns, (712) 356-0109.
