Three horses behind a bumper pull, with only 3,000 lbs of trailer doing it. That combination is unusual. Most three-horse trailers are goosenecks precisely because of the weight and the tongue loads involved, so an all-aluminum CM at this empty weight opens up three-horse hauling to owners who do not have a truck with a bed hitch.
Read the GVWR before you get too excited. It is 10,160 lbs. Subtract the 3,000 lb empty weight and you have roughly 7,100 lbs of payload, which is genuinely three horses plus tack and hay. The limiting factor is your truck, not this trailer. A 10,160 lb loaded bumper pull wants a properly rated hitch, a weight-distributing setup, and a brake controller that works. Most half-tons are out at that number.
Layout
Dressing room up front with a 2-foot short wall and a 7-foot long wall, keeping tack separate from the horse area. There is a hayrack on board, which gets bales out of the dressing room and off the floor. Inside height is 7 feet, roughly 21 hands of clearance. That is standard rather than tall. Fine for quarter horses and most stock breeds. Measure anything taller first.

The aluminum body is why a 2012 trailer still looks close to new. Aluminum does not rust, so a well-kept one holds up cosmetically far longer than steel does. It does not make a trailer immune to neglect. The floor is still the thing to inspect on any used horse trailer, whatever the walls are made of, and we pull the mats and look.
