Same ROM 550 platform as its black sibling, different face. This 2026 28-footer wears .040 Silverfrost screwless aluminum, which stays cooler in a summer paddock and hides dust far better than a dark skin does. Inside, the cabinets are black straight overhead and base units, so the contrast runs the other direction.

Underneath sit two 6,000# spread torsion axles. Torsion axles work independently, so a pothole caught by one side does not telegraph across to the other. That matters if you are hauling something with a fragile splitter or a load you would rather not shake. The box is insulated aluminum, walls and ceiling both, with 40 inches of carpet and black coin flooring below.
The ATC LifeTrac system is included. It is a mounting track along the walls that accepts cabinets, seating, hooks and racks, all of it removable. Buyers running a mobile detailing rig, a vending setup, or a two-car race program usually reconfigure the interior two or three times in the first year. That is what the system is for.
Rear loading is through a 4,000# ramp door with a transition flap over the beavertail, and the 24-inch stoneguard eats the gravel. The premium escape door includes a removable wheel so a driver can climb out after a tight park. Electrical is a 50 amp package with A/C and awning prep. Wheels are aluminum with a matching spare on an interior mount. Five-year structural warranty.
Worth saying plainly: at 28 feet this is a large bumper-pull. It tows well behind a properly rated three-quarter-ton, but it will feel a crosswind more than a gooseneck of the same length would, and it needs more room to back into a paddock spot.
