Enclosed Car Trailer 2025 28ft Haulmark Edge w/Turbo Package #3036

The aluminum insulated generator box is the detail that tells you what this 28-foot Haulmark Edge is for. You do not build a dedicated, insulated generator compartment into a trailer unless the people using it plan to spend whole weekends living out of it. Everything else on this build follows from that.

Finished inside

Black L-shape base cabinet, straight overhead cabinet, a closet with a rod and a 5-drawer cabinet. Tools, spares, clothes and paperwork all get a home instead of a milk crate. It is wired and framed for A/C, so the climate control upgrade is a bolt-in, and there are two roof vents in the meantime. The Turbo Package adds a premium stereo and speaker package for the paddock.

Loading and doors

Medium-duty ramp door with extensions, and four 5,000 lb D-rings on welded plates. Welded plates matter more than the ring rating on a trailer that gets loaded and unloaded every weekend. Sixty-inch premium double side doors with a pull-out step give you a wide walk-in beside a loaded car, which single 36-inch doors do not. Rear wing with LED lighting and an electric tongue jack.

Underneath and outside

Two 6,000-pound E-Z Lube Torflex spread axles, roughly 7 feet 4 inches of interior height, and a recessed spare tire compartment so the spare is not eating floor space. The Black PolyCor bonded exterior with the Black-Out trim package is the reason it looks like it does.
