At Acorn Machinery, we want you to enjoy your new machine from the moment you order it. To ensure a smooth delivery process, we've partnered with several trusted shipping companies like Uship, XPO Logistics, Heavy Haulers. This policy lays out everything you need to know about getting your Acorn Machinery delivered safely and conveniently.

General Shipping:

• Machines are shipped via motor freight. We can't tell you which carrier will deliver until your order ships.
• Delivery is curbside only. The truck driver will pull over and offload the machine, but they won't come onto your property.
• Full-size tractors with 53ft trailers deliver standard. Please inform us about any limitations like narrow roads or dead-end driveways.
• $250 flat-rate shipping applies to continental U.S. and Canada. Extra fees may apply for remote locations or island deliveries.
• Military base deliveries may incur a $100 access fee. We'll inform you beforehand.
• Inform us about any special circumstances like gravel roads. You'll be responsible for any additional charges caused by not informing us.

Pickup Option:

• Pick up your machine at a nearby freight terminal. Please note, some terminals can be up to 5 hours away.
• Ensure you have the proper equipment to transport the machine safely.
• Pickups at our Akron, NY location are subject to sales tax.

Delivery Details:

• Residential deliveries include a call-ahead appointment at least 24 hours in advance. Business deliveries have call-ahead unless you request otherwise.
• You're responsible for unloading the machine. Liftgate service is available for most machines for an additional $80.
• Specific day deliveries require a guaranteed freight quote. Contact us for details.
• Drivers cannot back down driveways. If access is limited, let us know beforehand for alternative arrangements.
• Standard deliveries occur during weekdays (Monday-Friday). Weekend deliveries are generally unavailable.
• Inspect your machine for damage before accepting the freight. Report any severe damage immediately and refuse delivery. Note minor damage on the receipt.

Additional Notes:

• We strive to deliver your machine in perfect condition, but minor surface imperfections may occur. Please note them on the receipt for touch-up paint options.
• We cannot guarantee deliveries on specific days.
