A one-owner Case JXU85 from May 2015 with 2,815 hours. 85 hp, 40 kph, and a 24×24 power shuttle transmission. Described as very good condition and a tidy tractor.
The JXU is the tractor a lot of mixed farms and municipal yards land on and then keep for fifteen years. Enough power for a mixer wagon, a big topper or a decent loader. Small enough to work in a yard. Mechanically plain enough that it does not need a laptop every time something goes wrong.
Specification
Two manual spool valves, a three-speed PTO and electronic linkage controls. The power shuttle is the feature worth paying for on a loader tractor, because direction changes go through a lever on the column instead of a clutch pedal. On a busy yard that is thousands of movements a year saved from your left leg.
The cab has air conditioning, an air seat and a sunroof. The sunroof sounds like a small thing until you are stacking bales at height.
Tires
Still on its original Continental set, 11.2 R28 front and 13.6 R38 rear, at about 60 percent all round. That is useful life left rather than a fresh set, so build a future tire bill into your number.
