The 7-foot interior height is the thing to focus on. Standard enclosed trailers run about 6ft 3in to 6ft 6in, and those extra six to nine inches are what let you stand up inside, load a UTV with a roll cage, or drive a car up on ramps without the roof getting involved. It is the version most people should buy and then never think about again.

Axles

Tandem 5,200 lb axles rather than the usual 3,500s. That brings larger 12-inch electric brakes, heavy-duty suspension, upgraded axle assemblies and higher-capacity tires. On a 24-foot enclosed trailer with a car in it, a 3,500 lb axle package is working near its limit. This one is not.

Structure

6-inch tube steel mainframe, tube wall studs on 16-inch centers and roof bows on 24-inch centers. Tighter stud spacing keeps the walls from oil-canning and gives you something solid to screw shelving into.

Skin

Premium .080 Polycor exterior. Thicker than standard aluminum, more dent resistant, and it stays flat rather than developing that rippled look after a few years. The exterior is semi-screwless, so there are far fewer fastener heads to leak or streak.

Doors and lighting

Spring-assisted rear ramp door with an extended 16-inch ramp flap, which shortens the transition angle at the ground. Flush-lock RV-style side door. Aluminum tread plate fenders. Full LED lighting outside, with a dome light and sidewall vents inside.

The vents matter more than people expect. An enclosed trailer with a warm engine shut inside it sweats, and that condensation is what rusts a deck from underneath.
