2026 ITI Cargo 8.5×20 Enclosed Car Trailer

The 32 in interior beavertail is the spec that sells this trailer. Inside the rear door the floor drops away toward the ramp over 32 inches, so the transition angle when a car comes up the ramp is broken into two shallower steps instead of one sharp break. Low-clearance cars scrape at exactly that point on a flat-floor enclosed trailer. This one does not.

Interior height is 84 in. Seven feet clear, standing up, working around a car with the doors open.

Frame and skin

Six-inch steel tube frame with a triple-tube tongue. The exterior is .030 aluminum in a semi-screwless finish using VHB bonding rather than a row of screws down every seam, which is cleaner to look at and gives water fewer places to get in. Roof is one-piece seamless aluminum. Underneath there is heavy-duty undercoating with BATTLECOAT protection, which matters far more than the paint if you tow in salt states. The Blackout package is fitted.

Inside

Engineered wood flooring and walls, four recessed 5,000 lb D-rings, full LED lighting, and a flush-lock RV-style side door. The nose is a 16 in V, which adds usable length at the front and cuts drag a little.

Weight is the thing to check

Running gear is tandem 3,500 lb drop spring brake axles on radial tires, so the trailer is rated to 7,000 lb gross. An enclosed 20-footer is not light, and once you subtract the trailer’s own weight, the margin for a heavy car plus a toolbox, jacks, fuel cans and spares gets tight. Weigh your loaded rig once, at a truck scale, and you will know for certain rather than guessing.
