Torsion axles are the reason to pick this one. Leaf springs are cheaper and they work, but they transmit every expansion joint straight into whatever you are carrying. Torsion axles use a rubber cord suspension inside the axle tube, and the ride difference is obvious the first time you tow a car on rough highway. If the cargo is worth something, it is the right choice.
The rest of the trailer is Pro Series construction: heavy-duty tube frame, triple-tube tongue, reinforced walls and roof, and a 7 ft interior height. Sixteen feet of box at 8.5 ft wide with 7 ft of headroom takes a car, a pair of UTVs or a substantial pile of equipment.
Wedge front
The nose is a wedge rather than a flat wall or a V. It slices the air at highway speed, which shows up as fuel economy on a long haul, and it puts the usable interior space further forward than a V-nose does. Combined with the 4 ft beavertail at the rear, the loading geometry works out well for anything low.

The ramp door is rated at 4,100 lb with a wood flap at the bottom, so there is no lip to catch a low front spoiler. Inside, the floor is 3/4 in. wood and the walls carry a 3/8 in. liner finished with aluminum trim. Four recessed D-rings handle the tie-downs and dual LED dome lights make the back of the trailer usable at night.
Outside, the aluminum skin is screwless and the roof is a single seamless sheet, which is the joint most enclosed trailers eventually leak at. The underside is rubberized undercoated against salt spray.
