Eight hundred hours is nothing on a mini excavator. That is the headline on this 2020 Bobcat E45. Most machines in this class hit the used market somewhere north of 2,000 hours, so a low-hour E45 tends to move quickly and price accordingly.
Two things on this one are worth more than the hour meter. First, it already has a hydraulic thumb. Buying a thumb and having it fitted afterwards is a real bill, and a thumb changes what a 4.5 ton machine can do. Rock, brush, pipe, root balls, demo debris. Second, it has the hydraulic X-Change coupler, so buckets and attachments swap from the seat instead of with a hammer and pins on the ground.

Who this suits
Site contractors, septic and utility crews, landscapers moving up from a 3 ton machine. The E45 is the size that still fits through a standard gate opening but has the reach and the arm force to dig a real footing. If you are choosing between this and a 3.5 ton unit, the extra weight is what stops the machine skipping when you are pulling hard in clay.
We list this machine as used and it is priced as used. If you want photographs of the undercarriage, the track wear, the pins and bushings or the pump area, ask and we will send them before you commit. Undercarriage is the expensive part on any tracked machine and it is the part worth checking.
