Six feet wide, and what that means
Outside width here is about 6 feet, not the 7 feet you get on most modern two-horse trailers. That is a narrower stall. For ponies, Quarter Horses and average-framed saddle horses it works fine. For a wide-bodied warmblood, or a horse that braces and spreads its feet, it is going to feel tight. Measure your horse before you buy this one rather than after.
Wood floor, and why that is not a dealbreaker
The floor is pressure-treated wood. Wood floors have a bad reputation and the reason is neglect, not the material. A wood floor can be sounded, inspected and replaced at reasonable cost. A corroded steel pan cannot. Pull the mats, tap the boards, look at the crossmembers underneath. We will do exactly that with you.
Escape door and layout
A rear horse escape door gives you a second way out of the compartment, which is the kind of thing you never think about until a horse swings at the wrong moment. Dressing room up front with a 2-foot short wall and a 7-foot long wall. Inside height is about 7 feet, roughly 21 hands.
