Nothing to steer around, nothing to catch a bucket edge on. The cost is deck height, which means a steeper load angle than a low-deck trailer of the same length. Aluminum frame, wood deck
The frame is aluminum, which drops the empty weight to 1,238 pounds. Against a 6,000 lb GVWR that leaves 4,762 pounds of payload, and a lighter trailer means more of your rating goes to the machine rather than to hauling the trailer itself. The deck is 5/4-inch pressure-treated wood, which grips better under tires and tracks than bare metal and can be replaced a board at a time.
