Forty-eight inch sides. That is what makes this a different trailer from the usual bumper-pull dump with 24 in. walls. Taller sides mean you can fill it with mulch, brush or demolition debris without the load spilling over, and you can actually use the 10,000 lb payload on light material instead of running out of volume at half capacity.

Why gooseneck

The pin sits over the rear axle of the truck instead of hanging off the bumper. Weight transfers into the truck frame, the trailer tracks straighter at highway speed, and backing into a tight yard gets easier rather than harder. For a trailer that is going to run loaded most days of its life, gooseneck is the right choice. It does mean you need a bed-mounted hitch, so factor that in if your truck does not have one.

The hoist is telescopic rather than scissor or single-ram. It lifts the bed higher and keeps lifting through the whole stroke, so wet clay and packed material actually leave the bed instead of sticking at half tip. The 12-volt pump lives in a lockable box with interior lighting, which sounds minor until you are wiring in a jump at six in the morning.

Dual 12K two-speed landing gear handles the drop and hook. Rear stabilizer jacks stop the trailer rocking while you tip a heavy load. Slide-in ladder ramps let you drive a mini excavator or a walk-behind up into the bed.

An 18 ft mesh tarp with an anti-sail kit is included. D-rings, stake pockets and side steps are fitted. The finish is an industrial polymer coating rather than paint.
