Frame and running gear

I-beam main frame with an 8-inch I-beam tongue. Tandem premium 7,000 lb axles on multi-leaf slipper spring suspension, with forward self-adjusting electric brakes on both axles. Slipper springs ride rougher when empty than an equalized setup, but they take abuse better, which is the right trade on a dump trailer.

The jack is a heavy-duty 12,000 lb top-wind. Safety chains are 3/8-inch Grade 70.
