Retracted track width is 1.4 m. That is the number that gets this machine into a walled garden, through a side passage or into a churchyard where a trailer-mounted lift will not fit. Once it is in position the tracks widen, the outriggers come down and you have 14.7 m of working height.
Platform height is 12.7 m, working height 14.7 m. Load capacity is 225 kg, so two people plus tools and materials rather than one person on their own. For tree work, gutter and fascia work, sign fitting or building maintenance at three or four storeys, that is the right size of machine.

Plan the ground before it arrives
You need a minimum 3.8 m clear area for the outriggers to deploy and support the machine. A 1.4 m gateway gets it in, but a 2 m courtyard will not let you set up once you are there. Measure the working position, not just the access route. This catches people out more often than anything else on a tracked lift.
The engine is diesel and takes white diesel only. Do not run it on anything else.
The machine transports on a three ton trailer. If you already own a suitable trailer, moving it between sites is straightforward and you are not paying for a truck each time.
