The 15C-1 sits in JCB’s 1.5-ton class, which is the size that fits through a garden gate and still digs a drainage run at a sensible pace. This one is a 2018 with 696 hours, so it has done light seasonal work rather than daily site duty.
It comes on rubber tracks with a dozer blade, and the hammer pipework is already run. That last point saves real money. Retrofitting an auxiliary line for a breaker on a machine this size is a day’s labor and a set of hoses, and plenty of used minis in this bracket do not have it. If you plan to break concrete or drive posts, this one is ready.

The trade-offs
The hitch is a manual quick hitch, not hydraulic. You get out, pull pins, swap the bucket, get back in. It is slower and it is also one less hydraulic circuit to leak. Most owners of 1.5-ton machines never miss the hydraulic version.
It has a canopy rather than a cab. That keeps the machine light and the transport height down, but you are working in whatever weather the day gives you.
One bucket is included. If you need a grading bucket or a narrower trenching bucket, budget for it separately and tell us the width you want. We can usually source them.
