This is a production chipper, not a yard machine. The Doppstadt DH812 is a 19,000 kg towable unit built in 2014 with 917 operating hours on it, and it comes paired with a Palfinger Epsilon M70F crane and a Cranab CE 280 grapple so one operator can feed it without a second machine on site.
It swallows softwood up to 60 cm diameter and hardwood up to 48 cm. Infeed opening is roughly 2 m wide with a 95 cm infeed height and a loading height around 1.4 m. Drive power is 220 to 360 kW, and the chipping rotor is 1.2 m wide by 1 m in diameter running between 400 and 640 rpm with six chipping blades and six counter blades.
Chip quality is set by the basket
Screen baskets change out easily and cover P16 through P100. That range is the difference between fuel chips for a biomass boiler and coarse material for track surfacing, and being able to swap in the field is what makes a machine like this pay. Infeed speed is variable and the infeed roller has a hydraulic pressing device.

Crane lift figures run 1,280 kg at 5 m, 890 kg at 7 m, 660 kg at 9 m and 540 kg at 10 m, with a maximum of 2,160 kg at 3 m. The rear cross member carries a 12 volt socket, a dual-circuit braking system and four hydraulic connections.
Lighting is an LED package: one on the discharge chute, two at the infeed, one internal. There is a camera on the discharge chute. Tires are 600/50 R22.5 winters.
