One hour on the meter. This 2025 331P is listed as used, which on paper it is, but an hour is a delivery drive and a wash. You are buying a machine at used pricing that has not started its working life.
The 331P sits at the top of John Deere’s compact track loader range. Rubber tracks rather than wheels mean it floats on soft ground, holds a grade on side slopes and does not chew a finished lawn the way a skid steer does. That is the reason people move up to tracks and pay the premium for the undercarriage.

High flow and two speed are the boxes to tick
High flow hydraulics is what lets you run the attachments that actually justify a machine this size: cold planers, mulching heads, large-diameter augers, wheel saws. Without it those attachments either run slowly or do not run at all, and it cannot be retrofitted cheaply. Two speed roughly doubles travel speed for moving across a site, which sounds minor until you spend a day crossing a ten-acre job in low range.
In the cab
Enclosed cab with air conditioning and heat, air suspension seat, pilot controls. Pilot controls are lighter on the wrists over an eight-hour shift than mechanical linkage and most operators come to prefer them within a week.
What comes with it
A general-purpose bucket is included, the quick-tach system is fitted for attachment changes, and rear counterweights are on the machine for stability when lifting out front.
