Two hundred and ninety-four hours. On a Kubota B-series that is a tractor somebody bought, mowed their property with for a few seasons, and then moved on from. These engines run for thousands of hours. You are buying most of a machine’s life.
Configuration is hydrostatic transmission and MFWD, which is Kubota’s mechanical front wheel drive. Hydrostatic is the right choice for loader work and for anyone who is not going to spend all day in a field. You control speed and direction with a pedal, you never touch a clutch, and reversing against a pile is one foot movement instead of three. Gear-drive tractors are more efficient in sustained draft work like plowing. Almost nobody buying a B-series is doing sustained draft work.
No cab
This is an open station tractor with no cab. That means no heat in February and no air conditioning in August. It also means it is shorter, lighter, cheaper to insure and it fits under low branches and inside a standard garage door. Plenty of buyers prefer it. Just know what you are getting before it lands in your driveway.
