2024 Diamond C 8.5×20 20K Deckover with 72″ Flip-Knee Ramps
Twenty thousand pounds of GVWR on a 20-foot deck. Ramps first
The 72″ flip-knee ramps are the feature that earns the money here. A flip-knee folds at mid-span, which drops the entry angle at the ground without asking you to wrestle a twelve-foot ramp. Add the 48″ dovetail and a low machine climbs on without dragging its belly pan. Ramps that fight you get skipped, and a skipped ramp is how equipment gets scraped.
Suspension and stopping
Two 10K Super Lube axles sit on 10K torsion straight-axle suspension with self-adjusting electric brakes. Torsion works independently side to side, so a pothole under one wheel does not shove the whole trailer the way it can on leaf springs. Self-adjusting brakes matter far more at this rating than at 7K. Nobody wants to be pulling drums to shim shoes on a trailer that regularly carries fifteen thousand pounds.

Read the coupler line carefully. It is a 2-5/16″ flat-mount, which makes this a bumper-pull, not a gooseneck. Your receiver and hitch have to be rated for the loaded weight, not just the ball size. A 2-5/16″ ball bolted to a Class III receiver is a common mistake and an expensive one. The ST215/75R17.5 radials are the right tire at this rating and worth the step up from 16s.
