Sixteen thousand pounds gross on an aluminum tilt is a lot of trailer. Most aluminum tilts top out around 10,000 to 14,000 because the structure gets expensive fast. Nordtek got there with an 8 in. channel tongue and frame, 4 in. channel crossmembers at 16 in. centers, and a pair of 8,000 lb axles. This is the heaviest thing they build in aluminum.
The reason to buy aluminum at this weight is not the trailer, it is the truck. An aluminum deck saves enough tare weight that you can carry a heavier machine without going over your combined rating. If you are hauling a mid-size skid steer or a compact excavator regularly and you are running out of legal weight before you run out of deck, this solves it.

Fitted out to work
A winch plate and a deep-cycle battery come with it, so you can mount a winch and load a dead machine on day one. The toolbox is deep enough for chains, binders and a couple of straps rather than the token box you get on most trailers. The spare tire mount is removable, which matters on a tilt deck where a fixed mount would be in the way of the load.
The coupler is a 2 5/16 in. adjustable unit, so you can level the trailer to your truck rather than living with whatever height the ball ends up at. Wiring is a braided harness, which survives being dragged over a deck edge better than a plain loom does.
Fenders are checker plate. The front carries a 7 in. guard rail. Deck boards are pressure treated for all-weather use, and easy-lube hubs keep the bearing service down to a grease gun and five minutes.
