Width is the problem this trailer solves. A rock crawler on 40s, a lifted truck, a dune buggy with a wide stance: none of them load cleanly on a standard car hauler with fenders in the way. The MAXX-D runs a 102-inch deck with drive-over fenders, so the whole width is usable and the tires simply roll over the top.

Crossmembers at 12 inches
Crossmember spacing is the spec people skip and then regret. At 12 inches on center, the floor is supported often enough that a jack stand or a narrow tire does not deflect it. Cheaper haulers space them at 16 or 24 inches and the deck flexes under a point load. Combined with the 6-inch channel main frame and the Blackwood floor, this one stays flat.
Fitted equipment
- Hydraulic jack, which is the difference between ten seconds and two minutes every time you hook up
- Solar charger to keep the battery power pack topped between uses
- A-frame toolbox on the tongue
- Rear stabiliser jacks
- Spare tire mount
- Steel tubing rear bumper, which shields the wiring and does not pack with mud and stones the way an open channel does
Before you order
Ramps are an option on this model, not standard equipment, and lengths and configurations vary. Tell us what you are loading and we will confirm exactly what is on this unit and what it will take to load your vehicle. The powder coat process MAXX-D uses is a genuine step above a painted trailer and it is the reason these hold up in salt.
