The SCL1000 is a stand-on track loader. You ride on a platform at the back rather than sitting in a cab, and the machine is 35.8 inches wide. Those two facts decide whether it suits you. It fits through a gate and along a side path, and you step off it forty times an hour without climbing down out of a seat.
Rated operating capacity is 1,000 lb against a 2,857 lb tipping load. Maximum lift height is 85 inches, which clears the side of a dump insert or a mini dumper but not the side of a tandem dump truck. Auxiliary flow is 15 gpm, which covers augers, a small grapple, a leveller or a stump grinder.
Undercarriage
Track tensioning is grease-adjusted, so you are not fighting a seized adjuster in the field. Ground clearance is 7.4 inches, and that is the honest limitation of this machine. It is a landscape and small-site loader. Deep ruts and soft fill will drag the belly pan.
Engine
25 hp turbocharged diesel. Diesel rather than gas matters on a machine that runs auxiliary hydraulics all day, because the torque holds up when an attachment loads the pump down.

Where it fits: for a landscaper or hardscape crew doing residential work, this covers most of what a wheelbarrow and a rented mini skid do now, and it stores in the back of an enclosed trailer. For grading acreage or loading trucks, buy a full-size compact track loader instead.
