2026 ATC ROM 450 24 ft Aluminum Car Hauler
The beavertail is the reason to buy this trailer over a flat-floor box. A beavertail drops the last few feet of deck toward the ground, which cuts the ramp angle at exactly the point where a low front air dam wants to catch. If you haul anything with a splitter or a lowered nose, that angle is the whole ballgame. The cost is a small step in the floor at the back of the bay, which nobody notices once a car is strapped down.
Where the ROM 450 sits in the lineup
Mid-tier, and honestly so. The .030 skin is lighter gauge than the .050 on ATC’s top trailers, the warranty runs 3 years structural rather than 10, and the axles are 5,200 lb spread Dexter torsions rather than 7,000s. For a single car and a set of tools that is the correct amount of trailer. Paying for stacker-grade running gear you will never load is money left on the ground.
Loading and access
A 49-inch extended tongue improves tow balance and buys jackknife clearance when you are backing into a tight paddock. Winch plate for cars that will not drive on. The Premium Escape Door has a removable wheel well, so a door opens even with the vehicle parked tight against the wall. Aluminum slide-out step at the side door.

Interior
White .030 aluminum walls and ceiling over black coin flooring. Black overhead and base cabinets. The four 5,000 lb D-rings sit recessed, so a floor jack rolls over them instead of hanging up. Spare tire mounts inside on an aluminum wheel. Rear spoiler with three LED lights.
ATC LifeTrac is included. It is a wall track system, so cabinets, a sofa, wall hooks, and helmet racks bolt on and relocate without drilling new holes every time your setup changes.
