The side ramp is why you are looking at this one. Most two-horse bumper pulls load from the back and that is the end of it. This 2007 Hawk has a 54-inch ramp on the side in addition to the rear ramp, which gives you a second loading angle when you are parked somewhere tight and a much easier ask for a horse that balks at a step-up.
Airflow
Both ramp doors latch back during travel. That turns the rear and the side into open airflow instead of a sealed box, and on a July haul it is the difference between a horse that arrives sweated out and one that does not. Two-way roof vents sit over each stall. There are sliding windows on the sides and in the rear doors, plus a bulkhead window and sliding nose windows up front.
Inside
Padded walls, padded divider, padded chest and butt bars, with rubber-lined walls behind them. The head divider comes out, so you can open the space up and haul one horse with room to spread out. That matters for a young horse still learning to travel or one coming back from an injury. The dressing room is already outfitted with saddle racks, bridle hooks, a blanket bar, and a brush box.

How it is built
Aluminum body on a galvanized steel frame with a fiberglass top. This is a hybrid, not an all-aluminum trailer. The steel frame gives more structural strength than aluminum at the same section, and the galvanizing is what keeps it from rusting the way a painted steel frame would. It weighs more than an all-aluminum trailer of the same size. That is the trade you are making.
Condition is good used and it has been recently serviced, with tires under a year old. Side-ramp Hawks do not come up often. Flat $550 freight anywhere in the continental US and 30 days to return it.
