A three-year-old trailer at a used price. That is the pitch, and on a 2022 Sundowner it is a strong one, because nothing meaningful about horse trailer design has changed since this one was built. You get LED lighting, current safety hardware, and a stainless exterior, and somebody else absorbed the first depreciation hit.
The stainless is not only cosmetic. Corrugated stainless sides and a stainless nose take stone chips and road salt without the pitting you get on painted steel, and the polished roof rail and aluminum wheels stay presentable with a wash instead of a polishing session. Less upkeep across the years you own it.
Dressing room
Carpeted, with rubber mats on the floor, bridle hooks, an interior light, and a second location already set up for a saddle rack if you need more capacity than the rear tack provides.
Horse area
Lined side walls and padded dividers. Roof vents and interior lights down the length of the compartment. Drop-down windows with face guards on the head side and sliding windows at the rear, which lets you ventilate hard without a horse getting its nose into the airstream at speed. The escape door is on the first horse, where it belongs. The rear tack folds up out of the way when you want full loading width and carries a three-tier saddle rack when you do not.

Out back there is a rear spoiler with three unload lights, so a night arrival is lit rather than guessed at.
Two things to settle before buying any gooseneck, even a nearly new one. Confirm hitch position and bed clearance on your specific truck, since bed rail height and short beds cause more grief than weight ratings do. And check tire date codes, because a lightly used trailer is often still wearing the tires it left the factory on. We will look at both with you.
