2024 Diamond C 8.5×20 7K Deckover with Slide-In Ramps
Not every deckover needs to be a 20,000 lb machine hauler. This one is sized for the landscape crew, the small farm, and the property owner with a zero-turn and a list of chores. Model GDD23520x102 runs 20 feet of deck at a full 102 inches wide on two 3.5K Super Lube axles with electric brakes. GVWR is 7,000 lbs, empty weight is 2,850, so you have 4,150 lbs to work with.
Why go deckover at this size
Most 7K tandem trailers this long put the deck between the fenders and give you roughly 83 inches of clear width. This gives you 102. Pallets of sod, plywood laid flat, a compact tractor with the loader still on the front, all of it loads without a fight. The cost is deck height. You step up higher, and the 84″ rear slide-in ramps make a steeper angle than a long flip-knee ramp would. For mowers and UTVs that is a non-issue. For something sitting four inches off the ground, look at a low-profile trailer instead.
Build
Five-inch channel frame with a matching channel tongue running integral through the deck, and 3″ I-beam crossmembers on 24″ centers. Decking is 2″ treated lumber. The coupler is a 2″ Demco EZ-Latch adjustable channel type rated to 10,000 lbs, so confirm your hitch takes a 2″ ball before delivery day.

This unit left the factory with the boxes ticked: lockable tongue storage box, spare tire mount, half-inch D-rings, and a retractable step. Between the lace rail and the stake pockets you have plenty of places to hook a strap, which matters more on long stock than on a single machine. Shipping is a flat $550 anywhere in the continental US and you have 30 days to send it back. Email sales@acornmachinery.com or call (712) 356-0109.
