The Hero sits between a bare cargo box and a finished race trailer. You get a 6-inch tube frame, 5,200-pound axles and a proper beavertail, but not cabinets, carpet or a stereo. Ramp angle

Heavy-duty ramp door with a flap, paired with a 48-inch beavertail. The beavertail is the part that matters. It lowers the last four feet of the deck so the ramp meets the ground shallower, which is what keeps a low front bumper off the asphalt and a mower deck off the ramp edge. Without one, a 24-foot trailer at standard deck height loads at an angle that fights you.

Six inches of extra height
